This is a picture of my house. On the side of my garage I have my parents motorhome. I use the motorhome during the summer to go camping with friends and family. And yes thats Scrappy by my front steps. Hope you enjoy. Tinks.

Where I live II...

This is a view of Old 66, "the mother highway" , facing east. It's one of the prettiest stretches of the old highway that I know of. It's maybe 5 minutes from me. (I live on Old East 66, btw)

Here is a photo taken from my doorway. I live on one of the very tips of Old Hickory lake (in TN), which goes out for miles upon miles. I love the view! But....I'm looking into moving to Vegas soon. Maybe next blog will be from Bellagio.

Here are a couple more pics of my neighborhood. First pic really doesn't look like we are in the middle of the city, but we are. That's why I love Ottawa. It is very green! 2nd pic is during our annual tulip festival when something like 300,000 tulips are in full bloom.

Yummyhood

This is Mt Rainier. You can see it from all over western Washington (on a clear day). This was taken from a lake near my old dwelling. I live in one of the most beautiful places in the US of A. I will be taking more pics this spring around my new house. And of course I will post them for all to see. Oh, and there is a Starbucks on every corner, sometimes two. (i hate Starbucks, yucky burnt coffee taste!)

News to do with me...

To maybe cut down on questions in the room....here goes. Myzticalrain did not come to stay with me. She was feeling very pressured, and she was in a lot of ways, she was feeling she had no where else to turn. She didn't want that, and neither do I. If her and I ever work out, we'd like it to be because we want it, no other reason. She knows she always has a safe place with me for her and her children if she needs it. No strings attached. At the moment, I believe she is going to come here and spend a week or two and kind of get a feel for here, this area, and my friends, etc. I do not know when if ever this will happen for sure. Right now, she has a safe place for her and her children to live, and thats the main thing in her life right now as it should be. I know this is kinda a personal thing, I hope she don't get mad at me about it, but I would like the people in the room thats important to her and I to know kinda what is going on. ......Ok. Myz called while I was writing this and gave it her ok, so I wll go ahead and publish it. I hope no one thinks I'm being to mushy, because that isn't my intent. She thinks she may have internet in a day or two, so thats good news to....Further updates as conditions warrent.

Where I live...

I thought Naomi's idea was a good one. This is a little off road lane right above a local creek where it is very quiet and peaceful. I've always liked it there. There's a very old bridge up and to the right, and a very old levy and gravel bar on the river right next to me. This was a huge, very popular park around 1900, with rides, etc. It was called "Lakeside". It's maybe 5 minutes from me in the Jeep.

Where I live...

Krit's last post gave me an idea that we should all post a pic from the city/town we live in. I live about 2 minutes away from this man-made lake thats in the middle of the city. It is really pretty around here all year round.

In the News today....not a whole lot...Krit hasn't showed his unit lately that I'm aware of. I did show my ass off once again to Yumms and sara today. Wi_Fibre was kicked I believe yumms said 27 times....but who is counting. Tawanda went to a vino tasting party...I bet that was fun. Megan went on cam tonight, first time in a long time I had seen her. She's as pretty as ever. Weis has a song into American Idol I believe...I hope it does him well. I got Justin off earlier in the week to Tampa, Florida to work...YAY! Been alone at home enjoying the quiet again. Jamie showed up drinking Bacardi tonight..was only tipsy so she says, heh. Well. I cant think of much else in my drunken news state at the moment. Oh, easy is still easy, but we all knew that. Further updates as conditions warrent.

Hello again from the Ozarks folks.....been awhile since a news update, so here we go. ...NAOMI PASSED HER FRENCH TEST..YAY!!!! I knew she could do it as many others in here. Congratulations Naomi, I know you studied very hard and that test meant a lot to you. In other news, who the hell knows with the myz thing....Yummy is still trying to get out of her old job the last I knew. Tawanda is folding laundry today and loving every second of it. Exy has made an appearance today...I always enjoy chatting with her. If stoem reads this...I would like to give everyone an update sometime on the new version of ameegos and how it is coming. If you have time sometime to tell us. Or maybe Chris could perhaps. In other news "debbiesweetpie" made quite the show the other day....was very popular with the boys I do believe. This morning, a gunman opened fire in an academic building at Virginia Tech, my Alma Mater, and until recently, my home. I am shocked, stunned, angered, and yet thankful that nobody I know is reported to have been killed. However, I am saddened that 32 people are dead today, for no other reason than they were in a certain classroom today. Moreover, I am saddened that today's survivors are scarred forever, traumatized in a place as peaceful as Blacksburg, Virginia.

I am hopeful that we as a university, as a state, and as a society will not react out of fear, but out of understanding, that sometimes bad things happen, and sometimes we have little control of when or where. Hug your kids, and stuff.

VT enters the fray

My Fellow Ameegos,
It's been a while, but VTGreenGiant is back, now as "vt." I tried "atco" for a while (after Atco, NJ) but i think i will stick with the Hokie screen name.
I'm currently in two shows at Colonial Williamsburg, so if you feel the need to travel anytime this summer/fall/winter, I can get you a discount at the largest living history museum. Also, as an added bonus, you can see swordfights!
As a short summery and intro, I just graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in theatre, I plan to do a lot of boating this summer, and I am now single (and a bit loney) and live with my parents. Well, that last bit didn't help my self esteem any.
So, I'm glad to be back and catch up with my beloved ameegos.

Scary stuff

Well first of all, this will be scary for Sara and Robin.....but also for myself. (sara cause she's got no idea I can post here)

This is my first ever blog-post and I'm not exactly a good writer unless it's supposed to be insulting =p
Anyway I was talking to sara today with cams on and I realized something scary...when my cam is dark....and I sit in a certain way, I look like robin....this sure hurt my self-esteem real bad....but I decided to share this shocking news with the Ameegos world. Unfortunately I have no idea how to use MSN to take pics from the cam (if it's even possible) so I had to search for a program that can do that....unfortunately (again =) the only one I found in my quick search was a crap program...and it was a real slow download, so during this time the light changed in the room so the likeness to robin isn't as obvious (and the damn program required payment if I wanted to get pics without an ad on them =).

So yeah..I ran out of the room to find a hat, then ran back and tried to take as many pics as possible, unfortunately only one even resembled myself (and Robin) so here you go. (and I know..the hair kinda ruins it even more =)

Ok ......Yumms is now moved into her new place...loves her yard and hippie neighbor. Naomi is getting a bit miffed post some stuff ppl. I haven't seen a lot going on in ameegos lately because of class and getting ready for my trip. Chris gave me an interesting idea for my classes, I commented that basically I was trying to teach them not to kill themselves, he said I should also sell them life insurance. Haven't seen Danessa much, anyone know if shes ok? Well, sorry everyone, I aint got much tonight, I leave in the morning for Utah, wish me luck, if you would. Wish I had some more funny stuff but I don't. I guess I'll see most of you Monday or Tuesday depending on how the trip goes. Everyone have a nice and safe weekend. Yay Paddington!!

What a great surprise I had waiting for me when I got home! Exy (an occasional ameegos chatter for those who do not know) sent me a paddington bear, a lovely poem, some chocolates and these crazy long purple eyelashes from the UK!! I was so excited!!! I love getting mail, but packages in the mail are even better! I'll be posting a pic of me wearing the eyelashes with paddy. I want everyone to see these eyelashes! They are simply crazy! Currently on route to the UK are some special prezzies for her as well. I hope you like them EXY!!!

I LOVE SHORT WORK WEEKS!

Not only did I have yesterday off, but I also have Friday and Monday off! YAY for 3 day work weeks!

Upon returning to work this morning, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had received a second monitor, so now I have a dual 19 inch flat screen thing going on. Amazingly enough it is improving my productivity, and is reducing the amount of emails I normally print out. Unfortunately it will not improve my photoshopping skills, but oh well.
