My computer is INSANELY slow... so my backyard and the creek will follow... haha.

This one is for Strict...me in shorts and boots..best one I have, lmao. Thats scooter at , I dunno, age 4 or 6 months. I was headed to a charity benefit for a woman with cancer. I was a volunteer for the dunk tank. We raised a bunch of money that day...sad note is she did not make it. To all the people out there whos had this disease hit them one way or another, I know and I understand. I still work to help...yes I wear the pink breast cancer wrist band thing...

Smashed Mac and the missing admin

Well some of you may have noticed I've not been around much over the last few days - the reason why? I dropped my Mac Powerbook on to the concrete garage floor and smashed it. So now I'm waiting for those good people at Apple to ship my brand new shiny one to me. In the meantime I've had to cross back over to the dark side and use my old Samsung X10 Windows Laptop (just finished downloading the 100's of upgrades and patches) which has sat redundant on the self for ages. God I now know why I changed to Mac's what a piece of junk this is....still not long now before some form of sanity returns in the shape of a new Mac.

Damn glad I back everything up automatically every night as I lost no data following the accident - so if you don't I'd recommend you start as you just never know!!!

oops

well, "getting bumped out of a job" and "looking for a new one" mean different things in my dads job... so apparently he is not fired. he simply has to bump someone out of their job. its a weird thing and i knew about it before. so silly me. just clearin it all up. :) i dont think i'll be in for a while. dogsitting... ick. but 100 dollars on top of whatever overtime i can manage to grab will only be a good thing.

well i made it home alive but my computer isnt set up! first saturday out of school and im working :) jeez!

follow up from my date... that boy and i will no longer be talking as far as i can see. he reached asshole status when i checked my email this morning. anyway, i should be around as soon as i hook up my computer... if i ever find what box its in! :D

and one last thing... since i've been home i've been steathing around for dean sleeping pictures for naomi. haha i'm bound to catch him sometime. and happy late friday ...aka HAPPY SATURDAY!!!!

Where I live V....

This is a church sorta close to where I live...I've showed several people in the room already, but I thought I'd post a couple of pictures of it cause I think it is so neat. More pictures at www.thorncrown.com . It's about a hour and a half drive from me over the border in Arkansas.

Where I work!

I work in that tall building on the 17th. floor. The building is half hotel, half government offices. I bike to work everyday along this lovely canal (seen below) that goes from my apartment, right to my office building.


That is the parliament buildings on the left, and my building, which can't be seen is to the right.

Where I live

This is our Parliament buildings where the government decides how to run our lives. That tall tower is called the Peace Tower. I live a few miles away from here. About a 5 minute drive, maybe a 10 minute bike ride.

Where I live IV...

This is the courthouse in the town I grew up in, Carthage, MO.It was built in the 1890's after the old one was burnt down in the Civil War. It's a very grand building, and I thought I'd share it. BTW, I live about 7 miles from it now.

News that is not newsworthy

Well, I've had 2 great weeks off work, but they needed me back and managed to get me a 3-month term, so its back to work for me on Wednesday.

tinks we will all miss you. tinks wont be on in ameegos mon-thurs. we will all miss you. but school is more important and stop failing. :(. i will miss you and many others will to. we just will be partying because we are so sad. hehe. Love you sister of mine. de.

Who is TinkerHell? What does she look like? To most her identity is a mystery. To some her identity is not a mystery. She always tells people that she is too poor to afford a web cam. Will she ever get enough money to buy a webcam? Or will she leave most of you guessing on what she looks like?Hmmmm. I guess we will all have to wait and see.

Where I live III....

This is my house...I don't know how much longer it will be, so I thought I'd throw it up before it wasn't anymore. Anyway, I've lived here for almost 8 years now, It's peaceful and I'm lucky enough to have excellent neighbors.

This is a view of Old 66, "the mother highway" , facing east. It's one of the prettiest stretches of the old highway that I know of. It's maybe 5 minutes from me. (I live on Old East 66, btw)

Here is a photo taken from my doorway. I live on one of the very tips of Old Hickory lake (in TN), which goes out for miles upon miles. I love the view! But....I'm looking into moving to Vegas soon. Maybe next blog will be from Bellagio.

Here are a couple more pics of my neighborhood. First pic really doesn't look like we are in the middle of the city, but we are. That's why I love Ottawa. It is very green! 2nd pic is during our annual tulip festival when something like 300,000 tulips are in full bloom.

This is Mt Rainier. You can see it from all over western Washington (on a clear day). This was taken from a lake near my old dwelling. I live in one of the most beautiful places in the US of A. I will be taking more pics this spring around my new house. And of course I will post them for all to see. Oh, and there is a Starbucks on every corner, sometimes two. (i hate Starbucks, yucky burnt coffee taste!)
